DEC_Hi guys, first project of our research has been done. Aims of the study is knowing how important English is. the participants of the study is about 15 accounts. Each account has proven as single person by tracking their mail address. Range of age for the participant about 40% under 25 and 60% of 26 - 35 year old. The DEC Team has opened the project by inviting the participants on social media during may 13 - 19th 2023. There are several questions we have asked for different purpose.
The first question deals with how important English in nowadays is. There is 86.7% of participants who have voted for really important case and the rest voted for important matter. the rate of this question started from four different levels. All participants agree that learning English is important issue. Even this study have limitation. The next question try to find out which skill that the participant's interest to learn. The participant shows some variant answer. Most of them interest to learn speaking ability about 73.3%, 20% for listening and 6,7% for reading.
The third question is focus to compare the participant's skill interest with their English ability. The result of the questionnaire we will explore more in the next article. the last question deals with the place where the skill mostly use by the participants. The study show mostly participant use their English in public space about 40%. Work place gets 33.3% where their English also use rapidly. The rest of them spend their English time about 26,7% on social media. The background of the study have describe by four questions above.
The DEC team hope the next project will gain more participants. The problem that we face during the study mostly to find the participant who willingly join and answer the questions. We also interest to find out about the participant interest about reading.
